To Do’s are great to remind you to do the little things that need to be taken care of in a Project. After the To Do item has been completed just check mark the box for the item that has been done. You can do so by going to:

  • Menu > To-Do’s > Select the To-Do > Edit > Check Mark the Box for the Items that have been completed > Submit.

 

You can also upload images to Files to show that the job was completed.

Purpose:

To Create a Note.

Background:

Notes is a handy tool, it can be used to note down little things that need to be taken care of or to remind you to do.

Points to Remember:

Required fields are marked with an Asterisk (*.)

To save your work, click the blue “Submit” button.

To edit the record, click the green pencil icon in the upper right corner.

Deleting Items can only be done by a person with Admin Rights or if you are given access to do so.

If a Note need to be Deleted, you can do so by clicking on the “Action” button at the bottom of the page on the right.

Steps to Create a New Note:

  1. Navigate to Main Menu.
  2. Click on
  3. Click on blue button “Create a New Note” on the left.
  4. Enter the following information:
  • Project: Select from System List.
  • Title: (Mandatory)
  • Note:
  • Status: Select Open or Close.
  • Make Private: Check Box – Visible Only to Me.
  • Add an Attachment: Upload all Photos & Files in link to this Project. (On the phone or Tab this would be a Camera button so just click away & it will upload here automatically)

Background:

To-Do’s are a useful tool to manage basic tasks in Contractor Foreman. You can assign them to individuals, create checklists as well as set due dates.

Points to Remember:

Required fields are marked with an Asterisk (*.)

To Do’s will also show up on your Dashboard (Home Screen)

To save your work, click the blue “Submit” button.

To Edit the record, click the green pencil icon in the upper right corner.

If a To Do needs to be Deleted, you can do so by clicking on the “Action” button at the bottom of the page on the right.

Steps to Create a New To Do:

  1. Navigate to Main Menu
  2. Click on To Do’s
  3. Click on blue button “Create a New To Do” on the left.
  4. Enter the following information:
  • Project: Select a Project from the list.
  • Task Name: Enter a Task Name. (Mandatory)
  • Detailed Description: Enter what job needs to be done.
  • Checklist: Create a check list of things that need to be done. (Check items once it is completed)
  • Date Added: Automatically adds the current date. (Mandatory)
  • Due Date: Enter date when the task is to be completed.
  • Attachments: Upload all Photos & Files in link to this Inspection. (On the phone or Tab this would be a Camera button so just click away & it will upload here automatically)
  • Assigned to: Enter the name of who you want to assign it to.
  • Tags: Select the category from the drop-down.
  • Status: Select from the drop-down. (Complete or Incomplete)
  • Priority: Select from drop-down.
  • Notes: Add a not if any.
  • Make Private: Check mark the box to make it visible to you only.

Adding To-Do’s

To-Do’s are a useful tool to manage basic tasks in Contractor Foreman. You can assign them to individuals, create checklists as well as set due dates.

To save your work click either the “Submit”  button or the blue check mark box in the upper right hand corner.

To modify an existing record click the green “Pencil” icon in the upper right hand corner.

Add a New To-Do

Go to main menu and click on To-Do’s. Click on the blue “Add New To-Do” button. Select Project from the Drop down “Project” field, then assign the task a name. Next, give the new To-Do a detailed description of what needs to be done.

In the next field “Checklist” you can create a list of checklist type items that need to be accomplished. You can add multiple items to these checklists. Filling out one opens another box automatically.

Then fill out the Date added and Date Required by fields using the calendar pop ups.

In the right hand column of fields you can now assign the To-Do to an employee as well as assign tags (See tags in help or go to Settings > Company Setting and select tags to set up.)

You can then fill out Status. (Keep this set to open until all of the tasks have been completed.)

Priority is used to set the urgency of the To-Do. Your choices are High, Medium, Low and Critical.

Use the “Note” to input and further detail or direction.

To save your work click either the “Submit”  button or the blue check mark box in the upper right hand corner.

To modify an existing record click the green “Pencil” icon in the upper right hand corner.
